Bravery Magazine

I am currently the lead graphic designer for Bravery Magazine - a printed children’s magazine that features strong women. As lead designer, I am in charge of the final file and layout. This means that I am responsible for adhering to brand guidelines, all typesetting and page order, template creation, collaboration with artists, as well as creating my own pages from scratch. I also prepare the file for the printer, so I have extra experience in back end production (converting files, resizing, proofs, etc.) This means I have extensive experience with InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. I work with a small team of directors and designers, as well as cross collaboration with editorial staff. You’ll also find my illustration in the magazine.

American Board of Thoracic Surgery

I was approached by the new president of the ABTS to create a silk scarf for all of the female thoracic surgeons in America. Before this, the women were only given neck ties. The client wanted the scarves to be beautiful, but also very professional. The butterfly motif is inspired by a set of lungs, and a heart. Though not pictured, I also created scarves for Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as women fighting lung cancer. I also created neckties for the male surgeons.

Riley Blake Designs

For Riley Blake I created custom Instagram story icons. These images were also used for social media stickers and GIFS.
